About the Council

The South Carolina Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) is the state's primary collaborative body for the healthy development and education of children prenatal through age five.

Established in state law, the council includes elected officials, agency directors, community stakeholders, and parents. Working together, members promote a coordinated, aligned, and family-centered system to support young children and their families.
